Autonomous vehicles, which operate without direct driver control, have been expanding from trucks and buses into broader public transportation services.

Starting at 10:00 p.m. later tonight, autonomous driving taxis will begin operating on public roads in the Gangnam area of Seoul for the first time in Korea.
